Ray Tracing Ray Tracing is the fundamental technology behind producing the most realistic images possible on a computer. It exactly replicates the way it is done in the natural world. Every single ray of light is traced from the model to your eye. Pixex by pixel, voxel by voxel, shadows and exterior lighting sources are considered. It is phenomenally computing intensive, but is used more and more commonly for VR Gameworlds and simulations.
